St Wilfrids young ones (Copy)People of all ages continue to support St Wilfrid’s Centre for homeless and vulnerable people, but increasing numbers of young people are beginning to be aware of the great work done at the Centre.

Recently St Wilfrid’s Centre were delighted to receive a call from the mother of Eve, age 8 who wanted to run the Yorkshire Junior Fun Run in aid of St Wilfrid’s. Eve trained and ran the 1.5k on 10 April, collected sponsor money and managed to raise £170 in aid of the charity.

Thank you also to a group of Meadowhead School pupils who donated half their earnings to St Wilf’s when they worked on a project making aprons from recycled products for school. Their help is very much appreciated.
