The backdrop of the Peak District formed a lovely setting for the August Garden Party in the grounds of the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows at Bamford.  Parishioners were joined by friends and members of the village and from the sister church of St Michael the Archangel at Hathersage.

There were the traditional cream teas to enjoy, along with the numerous stalls and a raffle and tombola, in a wonderful atmosphere.

Thanks to all who worked to make it possible and those who supported it.  The event raised £1,000.
