High Sheriff’s Award
St Wilfrid’s Centre was privileged to receive a High Sheriff’s Award for valuable and devoted service to the community from Lady Ruby Sykes earlier in April.
As one of her final acts as the High Sheriff of South Yorkshire, Lady Ruby chose to present the Award to St Wilfrid’s as she was so impressed with the work they do. As Centre Director, Kevin Bradley was away, the Award was presented to Charles Gillespie of St Wilfrid’s Management Committee. He is pictured with Lady Ruby Sykes.
