Pro-life activists in South Yorkshire joined the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children’s annual ‘human chain’ to commemorate the passing of the 1967 Abortion Act at Meadowhall on Saturday, 26 April.  Despite it being a holiday week 20 people turned up to put across the simple and shocking message that 560 children are aborted in this country every day.  Unusually there was no negative reaction, perhaps because that figure speaks for itself.
