The Annual General Meeting of the Union of Catholic Mothers took place on Saturday, 13 February at the Hallam Pastoral Centre, Sheffield. Mass was celebrated by Bishop Ralph.  New Hallam Diocesan Officers were elected.  A vote of thanks was given to the retiring officers.  The new Diocesan President is Mrs Sheila Godley and the new Diocesan Treasurer is Mrs Marie West.

Double 80th Birthday Celebration – Congratulations to long-time friends, Mrs Delia Davies and Mrs Netta Gallucci, Union of Catholic Mothers members of St Joseph’s, Retford, who recently celebrated their 80th birthdays.

Easter chicks and bunnies – pictured below – were knitted by ladies of St Vincent’s Union of Catholic Mothers, Sheffield. The proceeds go to the Bluebell Wood Hospice Fund.UCM May chicks s (Copy)

May they rest in peace – Mrs Helen Dews, aged 100 years and Mrs Lilliana Melynk, aged 81 years died recently. They were both members of the Union of Catholic Mothers at St Peter-in-Chains, Doncaster.
