Kevin Bradley, Director of St Wilfrid’s Centre, said his final goodbye to all at the Centre in June. Kevin retired after over 25 years’ service and everyone wanted an opportunity to wish him well.

Staff, volunteers and members of the community came together to give Kevin a memorable retirement celebration and to pay tribute to all the work he has done over the years.  Mgr William Kilgannon, who has known Kevin well since he began working at the Centre, gave a moving speech and thanked him for his commitment.

He gave particular appreciation of everything Kevin has done to build the dream of the residential for homeless and vulnerable people, which has now been realised.

At the annual Birthday Bash clients took the opportunity to present him with a wealth of gifts, many handmade at the Centre and chosen especially for the man they all know and love.

Kevin was overwhelmed with all the attention and thoughtfulness shown to him and has barely room at home for all the gifts.  He wants everyone to know how enormously grateful he is for all the support he has received over the years and said, “Sincere thanks to all at Hallam News and the people of the Diocese for all your help and support I have received.  I really appreciate all that you have done and please continue your support.  Always remember ‘There’s Only One St Wilfrid’s!’”
