Hallam Heads support Mental Health Awareness in Young People
Secondary head teachers from across the Diocese joined with Bob Sawyer, Diocesan Director of Secondary Schools, to support Young Minds Mental Health Awareness day at St Bernard’s Catholic High School, Rotherham on 10 October.
Siobhan Kent, Principle of St Bernard’s, said, “As a school St Bernard’s is passionate about the mental health and wellbeing of our students being as important as their academic success. We do all we can to bring the staff and students’ happiness and care of each other to the forefront of our daily work. It was an absolute pleasure (and lots of fun!) to celebrate Hello Yellow as part of our week and bring awareness to good mental health in all our young people. Our passion is to keep mental health always in our daily activities as well as celebrating wonderful days such as these!”
