Exploring the Bible – a session for potential and existing Readers and others

What impact should the authors and editors of the books of the Bible, their perspectives and cultural backgrounds have on our understanding of the Word of God and how Readers proclaim it?

That will be one of the key questions under the spotlight at a special meeting aimed at existing and potential Readers, but also open to anyone from the Diocese.

Mgr John Ryan will be the principal speaker at the event, which takes place on Saturday, 23 February in the Houlden Hall, beside St Marie’s Cathedral, starting at 9:45 am, with a break for refreshments around 11am and an opportunity to take part in a practical session, using the Cathedral’s sound system, following Mass at 12:30pm.
