On Sunday, 29 May Sheffield city centre saw the traditional Corpus Christi Procession celebrating the Feast of the Body of Christ.

Corpus C 3 (Copy)  The walk began at St Marie’s Cathedral and stopped at various stages along the way, where pilgrims prayed together and venerated the Blessed Sacrament at previously prepared altars.Corpus C 4 (Copy)

  Walkers stopped at the Anglican Cathedral Church of St Peter and St Paul, where a short service was held, before returning to St Marie’s Cathedral.

  The Procession is a powerful, prayerful witness in the busy Sheffield streets.
