Congratulations also to Rachel Taylor who successfully completed the course.
CCRS is an introductory course in theology and scripture which enables adult members of the Church to continue to grow in understanding as they live their Catholic faith and take a full part in the Church’s mission and life. The course offers teachers and workers in Catholic schools a basic understanding of the Church, its teaching and way of life. For catechists and anyone working in parishes, the course gives a basic understanding of the faith of the Catholic Church as a foundation for their ministry.
If you are interested in finding out more about the course, visit http://hallam-diocese.com/departments/adult-formation, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0114 2566410.
This is a nationally recognised certificate and the course is validated by the Catholic Bishops’ of England and Wales Conference. A mix of teaching and discussion is involved during the eight modules which make up the course. In Hallam the sessions take place on Saturday mornings at the Hallam Pastoral Centre in Sheffield.
If you would like to study scripture, Church teaching, theology and more, you would be very welcome!
