The Holy Family parish of Arbourthorne, Sheffield recently celebrated twenty five years of the Presentation Sisters working in the parish. The parish community was renewed and revitalised by the arrival of the sisters and their vital work continues to this day with the hard work of Sr Eileen Keating.
The Silver Anniversary of their arrival was celebrated by a Mexican priest, and a congregation of Zimbabweans, Eritreans, Ethiopans, Polish, Croatians, Irish and English. The celebration continued with a picnic in the parish garden.
One parishioner, Peter Keating, told Sr Eileen, “Nano Nagle, the founder of the Presentation Sisters, will be proud to see your work in our parish.”
