St Patrick’s Day Celebrated at Holy Rood

Holy Rood School celebrated St Patrick’s Day with a Quiz and Pea and Pie Supper organised by the school’s PTA.  An enjoyable eveningHoly Rood St Patrick 1 s was had by all age groups and £300 was raised for school funds.

St Wilf’s Celebrates St Pat’s

St Patrick’s Day was celebrated at S Wilfrid’s Centre for the homeless and vulnerable in Sheffield in a very special way.  The party included Irish Dancers from Sheffield University dance team (pictured below), Monsignor Kilgannon on the tin whistle and Creative Arts Tutor, Rachel Wood on the violin.

Clients from the Centre all joined in the fun which included singing, dancing and, most of all, plenty of laughter.

St Patrick’s Day in Denaby Main

After Mass on the feast of St Patrick the festivities continued in St Alban’s club St Alban St Patrick swith organist and singer, Mr John White from Blarney, County Cork, returning for the 32nd year.   Pictured are sisters Mary, Ann and Josie, showing their parish priest, Fr John Cooke, how to celebrate in style.
