All Saints Students attend Awards Ceremony for ‘Inspiring Youth Project’

The Inspiring Youth Award Project is open to all secondary schools and run by a dedicated team of serving and retired Police officers and volunteers, all of whom have an interest in the personal development of young people.

The project consists of activities and opportunities to explore and investigate a full range of subjects, all of which are designed to make students more informed about school, home life and the community.  When students complete Level 1, they have the opportunity to go on to complete Level 2.

A number of All Saints students in Y10 and Y11 attended the Inspiring Youth Awards evening at the Mercure Hotel in Sheffield on Thursday, 23 January, after being invited to receive an award for their hard work with the project.  Special invitees included Bishop Ralph.

Twenty students from All Saints received an award for Level 1 and ten students received an award for Level 2.  All Saints also had twenty-one students who won a VIP day with the Police for their work.  Y10 Student Eva was the overall winning student for Level 1 and Y11 student James received special recognition for Level 2.  All Saints Catholic High School also won the top School Award.  A wonderful tribute for all the hard work that was done by both students and staff of the school.
